Album for Carcass Canyon trip in April 2006. We named this canyon Carcass Canyon after finding two (non human) carcasses in it. The canyon is west of Mantle Cave in Dinosaur National Monument.
Just a short slot canyon we found by default when trying to get to another one. I guess we probably were the first through, at least in modern times, though the ancient visitors might of found a way through . They did have a habit of exploring an area and leaving rock art. We didn't find any in this canyon, but nearby Mantle Cave has some ruins.
"Starting a rappel and noticing your rope is too short isn't quite as bad as starting a bungee jump and noticing your cord is too long"
