Thank you for creating this album. I was in Havasu Canyon in April 06; it is a beautiful place.

Thank you, Lisa. I am glad you liked the album. Havasupai is a fantastic place. We only had one day to hike in, explore, and hike out. Next time I will spend more time down there. Did you see Beaver Falls or Fiftyfoot Falls when you were there? We had to turn around before reaching Beaver Falls, and I simply couldn't find Fiftyfoot Falls although they were on my map.

Down and up Havasu Canyon in one day is quite a hike.

We didn't go all the way to Beaver Falls, as we were tired, and we definitely didn't see Fifty Foot Falls. Are they below Beaver Falls? Next time you go, I recomend Navaho Falls. There is a wonderful swimming hole behind the trees that shield the falls. We also hiked up Carbonate Canyon, which was fun.

According to the map at Topozone, the Fiftyfoot Falls are above Navajo Falls. However this map is the only place I found where they are mentioned. I wonder if they collapsed...
Yes, I agree that Navajo Falls could be best for swimming. They shy away from being photographed though, hiding behind those trees.

I did take some nice pictures of my companions swimming across the creek to get back from Navajo Falls; but didn't want to swim my camera across to take close up pictures.

Well, you still have to stop by the office in Supai and pay $20 per person. I think the trip is well worth it though. I am not sure how much you have to pay if you camp but I think it's more than that. We didn't make reservations in advance. Since we were hiking in December, I did not think it was necessary. We were the only group dayhiking. There were 3 other groups camping when we were there.
