My Round Top AlbumDuring our Californian round trip 2008 we hiked Round Top on August, 31 th with some friends. We started at Woods lake, ascended via Lost Cabin Mine Trail, Round Top Lake and made the loop by descending via Winnemucca Lake. It was a beautiful, sunny day but there were very strong gusty winds blowing on the summit and below. My plans to hike The Sisters, too, or to descend via east ridge were flattened by them - you could barely stand upright on the summit ridges.
But nevertheless I liked this hike very much and I enjoyed the Mokelumne Wilderness where I stayed for the first time.
As there are already many contributions to Round Top on SP I decided to create this little private album to share with everybody who loves this mountain wilderness, too, or who wants to simply enjoy the pics.
