Hasn't voted | Indeed, it would have been a stunning shot. Of course, I was happy to find this one as the views I had of Buck Peak were mostly blocked by trees on the way up as this pic demonstrates. However, you can see the main summit rock if you look closely in this one. Thanks for the page comment. Voted 10/10 | I think the mileage is about five miles short in your route description since the 5.5-mile signpost was southbound from Indian Springs, meaning that it is probably 2.5 miles farther each way.
