Overview
Anoch Mor is one of the four 4000ft mountains in the area surrounding the fort william area. In itself it is not a terribly difficult mountain to climb (Or walk up, as the case may be). During the ski season the hill may be over run buy people, because of the ski slopes on the north side of the mountain. However the slopes to the east and west more than make up for the long flat top and easy north slope.
Getting There
There are several directions to approach the mountain from. to the north is the Anoach mor ski resort, which has lifts that can take you almoast all the way to the top. If you follow the public road that curves its way through Glen Nevis to the end you will also find trailheads that will take you to the south side of the mountain via Allt Coire Giughsacan.
Red Tape
No permits are required to climb on the mountain that i know of.

Snow can lie on the Scottish hills at 4000 feet until about May. It tends to start snowing again in October, although it is possible to experience snow showers at any time of year. In the winter, large cornices of snow build up on west and east sides of Aonach Mor, so accurate navigation is essential on the summit plateau to avoid these in the mist.
