Mt. Agassiz

by sgenise » Thu Apr 27, 2017 7:44 pm

All of the trip reports I've seen of Mt. Agassiz (the one at Bishop Pass, not the one in Tahoe)are either a summer-fall scramble or a winter ascent. Is there any particular reason it's not climbed in, say, June with an ice axe and crampons when the chutes are still snow-filled and therefore less-prone to rockfall?

Thanks!
