| I plan to visit Aconcagua this season, 2008 - 2009, with hope of reaching the summit via the normal route. This is a solo visit, but I hope to loosely hook up with someone for high camp layovers and summit day for, safety reasons.
My actual arrival date on the mountain is uncertain at the moment, but it would be interesting to share notes on preparation with someone who has similar goals.
I wish you all the best and safe climbing to everyone this season.
Kind regards,
Siggi

ecomax | Likewise | | | Hi,
I´m also very keen to make an ascent of Aconcagua before the end of the current climbing season, ,which I believe is 15th March. I´m assuming you need to enter the park before this date, and not that you need to have completed your climb by this date - perhaps someone could let me know if they have the answer?
I´d be keen to meet other people who are interested in doing the same thing, if only to keep a look out for each other, and for some company!
I will probably arrive in Mendoza around 5-10th March.
Cheers,
