Description

I'll be in Ecuador for the new year and had my buddy bail on climbing Cotopaxi. If anybody will be on the mountain around those times I would love to join another group so I don't have miss out. I'll have all my personal gear and can bring more if needed. E-mail: burningthebushes@yahoo.com

	Smokin Shrubbery, We had burning mountains over here, I will be in Ecuador for about 3 weeks and would welcome company in my volcano rambling. How flexible are your dates? I have my ticket already. Ideally we would conjure up enough info out of my Brandt guide to Hiking and Climbing Ecuador to not need to hire a local, but I am by no means opposed if we should attempt something on the envelope of our combined skill level. I am like you, no formal training but mountain wise and the only 5,000 meter+ peak I have been up is Kilimanjaro. My trip is directed toward non-technical summits and soaking in thermal springs when not on a volcano. I speak crude Spanish and will probably hire a indigenous guide out of Riobamba if I don't find a mellow climbing partner before I leave. Let me know what you think. Lawrence
