Description
Moving to Moscow,flying out Oct 23rd,I'll be working at the US Embassy.
I know Moscow is basically flat,but i can hope/imagine that there's stuff around.
I've been running around the mountains for over 25 years;mountaineering,climbing,skiing.hiking.
I'm taking all my stuff with me;ice,rock,aid.skis and even a mountain bike.
It'd be great to find some folks to do stuff with.
I'm 48,married,no kids and remember when "Friends" where a climbing issue in camp 4 and not an overrated TV show.
Besides all my outdoor gear most of my weight allowance will consist of books and CDs.
If there is anyone out there or knows of anyone out there,please let me know.

| Hi Mario, this is Lawrence. Iam from Ausralia but living in Poland. Last year i climbed with a Russian dude in Croatia so just wondering if you'd be interested in a trip? Iam studying medicin and in the past i've waged war on the Park rangers in Camp 4. Let me know if you have any distant climbing plans.

| Well, you can take part in the Moscow rogaine - an exciting tourist competition. It takes place in the last holidays of October (28-30), starts on Friday evening. You have to orientate on a very long distance (something like 80-100 km for two days). The region is very beautiful if it's not raining.
To take part you have to register few days before and pay 5 dollars on the start point.
