Need advice for Mount Challenger

Hi,

My climbing partner and I would like to do Mount Challenger this Spring or Summer and we're looking to the locals for some advice (we're from Colorado). We're wondering if anyone could help with the following:

+ What's the likely best time to try, given the snow so far this season? Is it going to be an early season?

+ What's the advisability of traveling just as a pair with respect to navigating Challenger Glacier? (Still working on a third.) How would a party of two affect the time we should go - later so the crevasses are more visible?
