Approach


The starting point for this route is the Günther-Messner- Bivak.

Route Description


You can climb directly to the ice-wall or start first on some rocks and a steep ice couloir. After a short time climb left to the ice wall. Climb up direct to the summit of the Hochfeiler. For this route you need 2 to 10 hours. Depends on the situation of your condition and the condition of the Icewall.

You need equipment for a ice tour (Ice axes, crampons, harnesses, helmet, icescrews)
