Approach
From the airport take freeway GC 1 northward to the exit Telde, turn westward onto GC 10 and then in Telde take GC 41 in the direction of Vega de San Mateo. There turn left on GC15, direction Cruz de Tejeda, where you meet GC 60, which you follow through Tejeda. After passing Roque Bentayga to the left the roads starts winding towards Degollada del Asserador. Before getting there it reaches Cruz de Timigada in a long right turn.

This tour starts at Cruz de Timigada and follows a panoramic trail (nice views of Roque Bentayga, Tejeda and La Culata) below the walls of the Roque Nublo Massiv towards La Culata. From there you can use the same ascent that has been described above.
