Approach

Approaches vary but eventually take the Sixty Lakes Trail from Rae Lakes.

Route Description

Once in the Sixty Lakes Basin the route is very obvious. A prominent right leaning ramp at the base of the Southeast Face provides beautiful crack climbing for two pitches. The face becomes loose and broken for several hundred feet. This section has be done as class 3 or more challenging options can be found. Near the top, a wide flake/crack provides an exit. Continue on to the summit block. Descend the South Face route.

Essential Gear

We carried a small alpine rack. There is abundant protection. This face is a long ways from any roads, be prepared.

Miscellaneous Info

If you have information about this route that doesn't pertain to any of the other sections, please add it here.
