Who am I missing?

The whole deal

Alpenglow

I lack the incredible writing prowess that permeates Summitpost from every computer terminal on Erf, so the whole damn trip shall be condensed into this single section!

We be rollin', yo.

Started off at 0400 and made it up onto the isthmus. Sat around and took a break, where Rick Kent used ninja vanish skills to magically appear behind us, and join our group. We all set off for the Chockstone.

Took a breakfast/lunch/meal break prior to getting into Snow Creek proper, before the chockstone. I had some typically awesome Myojo brand Ippeichan Yakisoba (Taihen oishi desu), which I may add kicks much ass. Since that's all I brought (damn), I bummed some food off the homies on the trip. Next time, I'm bringing enough food for everyone, part of the "gum-in-line rule".

Looking up from the chockstone

Headed up to the chockstone, and we all donned crampons and whatnot, and started moving up. From then to the summit, it was basically just movement. Just keep on movin' on up. Right chute, left chute, right chute, summit. Got to the top at.... I dunno when, but we made the entire climb in around 12 hours, so probably 1600 unless one counts the extreme traverse over to the top of Tramway Mountain, with its long walkway with railing. We purchased insanely expensive food ($5.75 for a slice of pizza...), and took a rest. Rick had a Heffeweise (I shall bring some Franziskaner next time), and Miguel and I had Amstel Light. The Beck's I had originally chosen ended up being non-alchoholic (!!!!!!!).

I had a great time! Thanks everyone for coming along, and I'll bring tons of food next time for y'all!

Thanks! YOu should see Rick, Miguel, and everyone else's images of the North Face with Alpenglow. They have newer cameras. REALLY high quality stuff right there.

You finally come out here after you get done playing in the Sandbox, and I'll buy you as many as you can haul in your Stryker, suckah. :-)
