Took sixty eight minutes to get here from Upper Wolf Jaw, so it was about four hours from the parking lot at St Huberts to here via the Wolf Jaws. I liked the stairs/ladders on the north face.

A brief clearing!
Summited after a snowy hike up upper and lower Wolfjaw just in time for the sky to open up to a nice view to the north. Nice peak, short distance to Gothics.

Armstrong Mtn.

Summited Armstrong Mountain 4400' via the Lake Road to Beaver Meadow Falls trail. We followed this trail up to the col between Gothics & Armstrong. After summiting Gothics we came back down to the col and headed for Armstrong. There was some moderate scrambling on the way and some iced over sections, but overall was very easy going. At the summit we faced 30-40 mph winds and spent little time up there. We could see that it was going to rain and we descended back down quickly. About halfway down the mountain on the Beaver Meadow Falls trail, thunder, lightning, and hail came down and we hauled it to the Lake Road, where it finally stopped. The rest of the way out was easy.
The third mountain of the day with two left after it! Wonderful day.

Almost Clouded In
Hiked over Armstrong as part of a Gothics, Armstrong, Upper Wolf Jaw loop. 12.7 miles from what I read on a trip report on here. Took 10 hours from the parking lot and that's with a few 10-15 minute stops, 1 hour on Gothics summit, and a few short stops for pictures. Great views from the ledge at the summit!

Great hike with Gothics
Got stuck in clouds/fog on way to Gothics. But it cleared up as we approached and was able to get great views towards high peaks.

Wow
3rd peak on a Great Range traverse. I have to say that the summit offered, perhaps unexpectedly, one of my favorite vantage points in the ADK so far!
