Nice hike
We car camped right near one of the new towers and it provided us a nice spot to leave our vehicles that was off of the highway. Enjoyable weather to do this hike as it wasn't too hot. When we got to the top of the canyon, we traversed over below the black cliffs to the large gully and went up it for close to 700' and exited to the right and was very close to the highpoint by doing so. The register was a new one as the old one was no longer there.

ridgeard
planned on doing the high point and returning via the same canyon. we then decided to do the ridge traverse putting us very north of the parking area. It was a long haul back across the desert to the car. Really enjoyed exploring another canyon coming back down. got lucky again with the down climbing at the dry waterfalls.

5205-5226 Loop
Started on the road (US93), west and slightly north of 5205, and summited Arrow Peak 5205 via peaks 3943 and 4925. Continued south to Peak 5226. My running shoes weren't standing up to the sharp rocks very well, so while cp0915 went to Peak 5219, I bailed out down the drainage to the west. The loop I did was roughly the same loop route as this, except I went clockwise.

see below
Tagged peak 3943, then headed up the west face of peak 5205 (4th class to notch in crest), strolled south to the summit, then continued on to peak 5226. The traverse between 5205 and 5226 was very enjoyable. From there, I headed on toward peak 5219. I dropped down to the deep saddle between 5226 and 5219, then found a way up (class 2) the north side of 5219. Wandered from there to the summit. Saw a baby bighorn along the way. Sweet. Great day out.
Have since tagged at least a dozen peaks in this fine range. Good stuff!

We ascended Big Arrow Peak then headed north along the pretty rough ridge to Arrow Peak. We passed two unnamed summits in between the peaks. We continued north on the ridge to another unnamed summit and down to the saddle. From there we hiked down the gently sloping drainage to the desert.
The ridge traverse was definitely the highlight of this hike. The limestone rocks are sharp up there and break apart easily, so check your handholds and footholds.
