I had made plans with my lady to climb Divide for the sunrise on my day off from the Lodge. While working, Kyle visited me up asking if I was down to climb the Pillar. Of course I was! The only trouble was I already had plans. So I did what any normal guy would. I got up at 3am, and packed two separate packs. Climbed Divide with Lenka to watch the sunrise on the summit, and was back at St. Mary around 10am. Swapped packs, grabbed a bite, and headed to Many. We were on the Iceberg Trail by 11. 2 Hours to the lake and we began scrambling up the notch. Kyle let the pitches up the Pillar, and we had some great light while on the summit. We made it back to the lake just before dark, and began the trail hike home. What a day!

SoloClimbed it solo, roped up for one pitch. Spectacular views and great journey. Mountain goats were my only company after I left the lake.
