Proof that "desert towers"will get you everywhere, especially in the
right places.
Most folks on SP love desert scenery. It is the
dog and butterfly; the ying and yang between
snow-capped peaks and the colors of the desert.

Re: Nice BobI kind of have the luxury of living where the desert meets the mountains. I can see the Shiprock from the hospital where I spend most of my time. I can see the La Plata's from my house. Bummer

I live within one of Arizona's central valleys,
where desert flora and fauna prevail; even
though I can still see the San Francisco Peaks
(above Flagstaff) from spots 50 miles away.
