Climbed solo, cool peak with some dramatic exposure off the north side. Went over to neighboring "Kismet" on the descent.

An interesting peak, combined ok with Gilpin
I did this hike solo after an early fall snowfall while my friend climbed Sneffels and kept in contact with me by radio. Cool day. Started from the Yankee Boy restrooms, climbed Gilpin, then crossed the basin and climbed Cirque. Ended up unknowingly getting a shot of people on Teakettle that I knew (but didn't know were there)! They pointed it out later when I posted the picture. What a coincidence! Incredible day in one of my favorite places in the state.

great views.
Probably the simplest of the Sneffels range peaks to climb. No scrambling required. Would not be hard to combine with Sneffels. Interesting views of Sneffels from the summit.

Snowboarded the South Face
Climbed and snowboarded the South Face from the basin between Teakettle and Cique. Great turns, had to hop a gap in the lower cliff band but not bad. great views.

trail routeSnow climbed up from Yankee Boy Basin. Followed the climbers' trail to the summit, crossing patchy snow. Slushy on the way down. Good spring climb.
