The other Redstone Peaks
Rory and I returned to the Redstone area for another trip, to reach the summits we had missed last time. This time we headed up the next gully to the left from our last trip starting at Redstone and went directly for East Redstone. From there we headed to Tall Cairn Peak and down a different gully, back to the parking area. Easy trip, less than half a day. Pretty chill terrain compared to most of the area.

Following Redstone Peak
Crossed over from Redstone Peak. I messed up a couple times trying to find a route, but found my way around pretty quickly. After ascending the gully of Redstone, I descended via the chute on the north side of East Redstone as the sun came out from behind the clouds.

Quick but loose scramble
Nice views from the top but didn't like the loose stuff on the way up the ravine. Wanted to hit more peaks but spent too much time playing tourist in VofF.
From the E peak down to Vista. It was a great year for flowers. Also the peaks to SW.

East Redstone, Tall Cairn and Redstone Peaks
Great day in a very remote and scenic area. There was a small herd of Bighorn Sheep that stayed around for a long time between East Redstone and Tall Cairn Peaks. They made my day!
We passed on Mystery Cairn Peak this time to watch the Bighorns.

Redstone and East Redstone Peak
The views from the summit were awesome and filled with cloud formations never seen and a rainbow over Lake Mead.
