Re: How beautiful!I felt like riding at the end of the world travelling on that neverending day through north "fiordland" from Alta to Narvik, when sun didn't want to hide itself behind the horizon and I have the same feeling looking at that photo now... windy evening, purple skies and lonesome trip to the tip of one fiord peninsula near small village of Djupvik to the ruins of German war fort that was located just there to guide the entry to huge Lyngefjord. Nobody around, wind, dark waters with the last ship rolling on waves, coming back home and those marvellous, rugged, cold mountains at the end of the world...
Thanks Eric!

Re: How beautiful!Hope to get another gift of fate and return to Far North soon to explore that mountain range and more fairy-tale fiords of the west coast of Norway.
I imagine there must be some nice winter there now.

Re: You knowOnce you get there in summer period of midnight sun when days never end and you remain absolutely spellbound. Wherever you look, there is so much to explore there.
Apart from ...prices, Norway and the rest of Far North is a place that you fall in love at first sight.
