Went up to the mountain on Labor Day weekend and the lot was full around 3PM so there was about 20-30 minutes of waiting on the hill as cars left the lot and others were let in.
The different trails and difficulty level make it great for almost anyone to go up. I took the Green trail up but then cut over onto the Blue trail.
The view was nice but hard to see due to all the bushes around, the few places to stand were just bits of rock and with groups of people up there already (30-50 sprawled out across this particular peak) it wasn't easy to get a good view. But what you could see was definitely nice.

Summited this peak dozens of times on weekends. Now with the family the 3 1/2 year old chasing his older brothers 13 and 15 to the top. Always a nice day even in the rain. I can't keep up. But I do have to keep the youngest from throwing himself off of the summit. Strange how they want to do that.

First visted as an elementry school field trip back in the 60s. Tonnes of fossels as this was once a lake or rather sea.

Route Climbed: Long Route Date Climbed: 2004This is a good quick hike. Too many peppers on the trail trying to be mountaineers. Plenty of face scrambling options.
