Route Climbed: Ridge From Democrat Date Climbed: July 21, 1999
Drove up to Kite Lake and did the Decalibron route for Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln and Bross. The round trip time was about 6.5 hours. Got chased down Bross when the weather moved in, but all in all, it was a very good trip.
Route Climbed: West Ridge Date Climbed: 10 Oct 2004
From Kite Lake after Democrat and Cameron. Reached Lincoln 20 min after Cameron on the circuit. Beautiful day - lots of snow but the trail was well packed.
Route Climbed: From Mt Democrat & Mt Cameron summit Date Climbed: Saturday September 18, 2004
Reached summit at about 9:20AM from Mt Democrat & Mt Cameron. Clear beautiful day with great views. Signed summit log, stayed about 15 mins then off for Mt Bross. My 7th 14'er!
Third leg of the Decalibron for us. This was a very cool summit, definitely the best of the four. We had great weather and fantastic views of the surrounding peaks.
Route Climbed: Decalibron from Kite Lake Date Climbed: July 17, 2004
After climbing Long's a few weeks ago...it seemed sick and wrong to sleep in late and bag 4 peaks with such minimal effort. Nice scenery and easy hiking don't make for solitude. Still a fun hike though.
Route Climbed: Climbed from Kite Lake Date Climbed: September 2002
Flew in from Seattle, rented a car, drove to the trailhead, and did the Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln circa all in one day! Was feeling the affects of altitude quite a bit. We descended down from Lincoln in the dark, got in the car, and drove off to the trailhead of Mount Elbert.
We approached Lincoln after climbing Democrat and approached via the saddle between Lincoln and Cameron. May not officially get the credit since we didn't descend and ascend 3000 ft (?) but we stood on the summit and it was still fun!

Route Climbed: East Route Date Climbed: Late '70'sOne of the first 14-ers I did, this with Aaron Johnson. I've always had a fondness for this mountain--Lincoln's a good day out in the high country.
