Drove up from Vegas, 1 hr of sleep and no food. Rolled in to Kite Lake parking lot at 7am and was on top by 9:30. Beautiful day...if wasn't so tired, would've gone for the other 2 - next time!

Great hike. Did Bross afterward and descended down one of it's gulches to make an "almost loop."

Awesome Ridge!
Got Democrat, Lincoln, Cameron, & Bross with a friend and fellow teacher starting from Kite Lake. The only bad part was some of the road right before the lake!

A great fall day...
My first 14'er excursion -- hiked the "Decalibron" route to knock off three ranked 14'ers plus Cameron.

Standard Route
A friends first 14'er, slow going and had to make a mad dash for the summit before it got too late. Still a good day.
The road up from Quartzville makes a sharp right hairpin to gain east ridge. Follow road, don't head straight for summit as the scree is horrendous. Ontop at 9:30am then on to
Bross over Cameron on the way.

With 12 year old and 10 year old. Did Lincoln, Cameron, and Bross. According to the Gerry Roach book, there was suppose to be a trail back down through the Cameron Amphitheatre. Never really did find it.
From Montgomery Reservoir I did Mt. Democrat's North Couloir, Mt. Cameron, and Mt. Lincoln. CAUTION; route finding your way out of the Lincoln Amphitheater is a reall BI#@H if you did not come up that way.
