Where the pics were taken
Waymarks gathering Richard-Helfer-Weg is panoramic loop
trail on the eastern edge of the Goldberg
group (Goldberggruppe),
above the Moelltal valley and beneath the Wurtenkees
glacier (also known as Moelltaler gletscher).
It is a hiking path with no summiting
included.
However, at various points path does intersect with other
traverse routes and paths
that lead to some of the summits in the area.
Path
was named after Richard Helfer, founder of the Duisburg section of the
German Alpine Club (DAV).
All pictures enclosed here were taken either
alongside or near the path,
which takes about 4 hours to complete.

Getting there

from the southeast, Villach-Tauernautobahn A10 motorway, exitt Lienz
– Lendorf to Obervellach,
turn left for Flattach. From here, up the paved mountain
road to Innerfragrant and Valley station of the Mölltaler Gletscherexpress
from northwest (Germany), via Rosenheim – Kufstein – Kitzbühl – Paß
Thurn – Felbertauernpaß – Lienz, via Iselsberg in Mölltal till Winklern,
here right to Stall till Außerfragant – FLATTACH. From Lienz, 45 minutes
or so.
By train: nearest railway station is Mallnitz banhof. Austrian
