Easy trail  Sucess!

Easy bushwhack that is just a very well worn herd path. Hard to get lost, but make sure you have some navigation if you’re in doubt.

Easy day  Sucess!

Only ninety minutes from the Spruceton TH to the summit canister. Aside from Halcott it was the easiest canister hike I have done in the Cats. Much easier than Fir the day before.

Rusk, Hunter, Leavitt's loop  Sucess!

20F at the start! Warming to about 35F on the summits. Sun was shining most of the day until the clouds rolled in for the last 2 hours. Rusk Mountain was the highlight of the trip: loved it! Took about 7 hours total for all 3 peaks, about 12.7mi round trip.

Fairly Easy Bushwack  Sucess!

Hiked N Dome and Sherrill earlier in the day. Bushwacked from Spruceton Trail, climb was steep but not too thick, some thick stuff to get on ridge, herdpath to canister, nice views of Hunter/SW Hunter from eastern ledge on the descent.
