Twice via TTT. Once via Cottonwood ridge from Deaf Smith. Huge day as the fire several years ago has made what was once my favorite trail into a bushwacking mess. Please go up there and trample out a trail! Great day still.

Broad's Fork After Dromedary
Climbed Broad's Fork and to the saddle between Dromedary and Sunrise. There was a big mountain goat. Climbed Dromedary and then back down and up Sunrise and met the goat again.

Peak Number 2 on the Triple Traverse
May 27, 2011: Did the Triple Traverse with Joe B, and Matt V. The snow, even the avy debris, was very soft in Tanners, so the going was slow.

May 16, 2009 - Did this peak as part of the Triple Traverse with a group of seven from SP. We had prime conditions.

Triple Traverse
Part of the Triple Traverse. Excellent Snow up the east ridge, not as much as I'd like down the west.

Via Tanners
Came up Tanners with a big group from SP. Part of the Triple Traverse (double traverse for me). Went out through Broads Fork.
Usually part of a long traverse, the longest one day Sunrise to Sunset. 3 times as part of the Cottonwood ridge traverse, a half dozen triple traverses, even a few solo's!

E Ridge from Tanners
Ascended a snow-free Tanners Gulch and ascended the E Ridge of Sunrise to the summit. Tanners without snow is awful and dangerous. Don't do it.

Up and Down Tanners
Climbed up Tanners Gulch and summited Dromedary, then traversed the ridge to the col and went up Sunrise. Sweet 3rd class climbing from the col, and an amazing uninterrupted 1500' glissade on corn snow for the descent!

"Double Traverse" from Tanners to BF Twins
as part of Walt Haas' annual Triple Traverse (which for me was a Double since I opted to skip Dromedary). I bit off almost more than I can chew doing this intimidating mountain as my first "real" snow climb (and my first winter/spring Elevener), and I considered bailing from Tanner's saddle, but I'm extremely glad I went through with it. The views of and from those peaks when snowy are unsurpassed, and then there's that awesome feeling you get when you successfully push your personal limits.
