Hot, sticky, and ultimately rainy hike up and down. Great views from the Tower before the cloudburst hit!

It’s a nice hill! A little hard to find, but easy to get to. Well maintained trail and roads. Highpoint 20/50 down!

Snowy Timm's Trip (#5)
On a trip to try Wisconsin and Minnesota high points, we easily hit Timm's Hill. It was still pretty snowy, and we had to park out by the main road, but the walk in was quiet and easy. The wind was on one, though, so we didn't spend much time at the top of the lookout.

Drove up from Wisconsin Dells during a work trip there. Nice area around the peak, had lunch at the cafe by the lake there.

In WI for work, decided to go for a random hike to the highest elevation...that's where I learned that highpointing was a "thing". Beautiful view from the tower, then hiked around the lake.

Highpoint # 28
Third of four highpoints during a road trip from Minneapolis. Second of the day after tacking Mt Arvon in Michigan in the morning. Chilly afternoon, but a quick walk along the Tower Trail from the parking lot.
First of two high point day. Saw a bear on drive to area. Bunch of other trails in area if had more time would explore. Leafs turning fall colors pretty time of year to tag. Nice views from tower. Cute little cafe With decent paninis for lunch after. Enjoyed more than I thought (didn’t look into much)

Midwest high-pointing in fall
Third of the trip and second of the day, following Mt Arvon. #43 over all. We just barely got to the parking lot before sunset, jogged up the 300 yards to the tower, and took in the fog-soaked views of Wisconsin. The whole area seemed to be well maintained and a nice park. Would have been nice to spend some time around there in different circumstances. We continued our drive on to Green Bay, however.

Timm's Hill
My home state, nice hike and easy summit. Beautiful view of the farm land and option to climb the fire tower.

HP #1...The Beginning, Timm's Hill, WI
Easy hike from parking lot and then climb up the Observation Tower for a beautiful view of the Wisconsin countryside. An easy intro to Highpointing (far different than Minnesota's Eagle Mtn 4 days later).
I climbed the polished rungs of the 70 foot metal tower in my Birkenstock sandals - adding to the thrill. Lamer states would not have allowed the public to climb a 70 foot ladder, thanks WI!!!
Independence Day bag. Nice forests flanking this hill, the Ob tower is the real MVP.

Able to make this a sporting 2 mile loopish hike starting at the SE corner of Bass Lake. Climbed both summit towers, nice views. Trip Report

Glad for the summit tower
Great views from the summit tower! Like most summits in Wisconsin, the thick forest would otherwise obscure any view of the surrounding area, except where observation towers exist. Mosquitoes were active, so they kept me moving on the trails. Looking forward to a return in the autumn for the fall colors.

Timm's Hill
Day trip out of Chippewa Falls with Maria. This was her first time on Timm's Hill, and my second. Mostly sunny and humid. We climbed the wooden tower, I considered climbing the steel tower, but I decided not to. It looks like some trees have been cleared from the summit area since the last time I was here, you could see the top of the wood tower from the Hill of Beans this time.
