"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

Fun route to an anti- climactic summitLots of scrambling, and only roped up for the one pitch at the end. I'd call it a 5.7 but was happy to have my rock shoes for it.
Don't forget to walk the summit plateau across to the north end where the highest point is!

West TempleI don't see how this is rated 5.8, more of a difficult scramble by Canadian Rockies standards. Not sure if this really is the official rating, just what I picked up in Climbing Magazine (Feb 2007). If you are never going to climb pitch after pitch of 5.11+ trad, this is your only other option to reach the summit of West Temple. Fine day with Carsten. This coming weekend will be our third in a row. Nice, fast and strong, I appreciate that. Uneventful climb, but fun to tic off the list.
