glad you enjoyed our tale. The Langdale campsite is a great central location for bagging all the big tops in the Lakes.
We didn't do it this time but the highest tops of Scafell and Scafell pike are less than nine Km from the site. Of course there are a few stiff obstacles before you can reach them but it makes a grand day out.
