"razor-blade ice ridges over a sea of fog", or "brooding north walls right above gaping bergschrunds" here, I'm afraid ;-)...just some pics of when autumn was at it's very peak on October 30th this year (2010). I was coming back from Werfen that day - see my album
Dachstein and Tennengebirge in late autumn - and the colors just before approaching Salzburg were so irresistable that I got off the train the moment I could - still a good distance from home - and searched a good stance to take these shots.
