Sorry things didn't work out. It is particularly distressing to hear that the new bigger and better bridge failed. I don't know why Uinta snow does not consolidate. It is not that way in the Wasatch.

I guess every range has its own quirks! Once the snow bridges melt, one will have to travel up into the basin to where a fording would be safe. Right now it's flowing very fast, deep, and turbulent.

There will still be snow up there in august... alot of it... Ideal time is when there is only snow in the short cut chute. And hey, if you see me up there, say hi :)
