25th trip-That's amazing!! Sounds like you'll be making a few more before it's all said and done. I've only been there once, briefly, many years ago and ended up fleeing to Florida after it snowed 8". Some of your destinations sounded familiar since I just read "A Walk in the Woods" after seeing the movie.

Bill, glad you enjoyed it! It's a beautiful area but the hiking is just a lot different than out west. As for the number of trips, that 8 hour drive makes in pretty accessible. And as for that snow thing, I have yet to see the Smokies covered in snow, but I am hoping that changes some time this winter. Happy Trails, Mark
