Albuquerque to Denver - Desert Dry to Snow

We made four trips to Colorado this past winter and spring to choose our new home. Three of those flights were uneventful but Colorado strutted her stuff on March 23, 2016. DIA closed down completely (roads and airport itself) causing us to spend the night in Albuquerque and then flying out again at 6:30 AM to Denver.

Even though I have driven in the southwest over the years I had never seen this much terrain and contrasts within a 75 minute time period. From the arid plains of New Mexico to the snow-covered mountains in Colorado to crisp, clean Denver I enjoyed every second.
