"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Bushwack galore! From FR220, took a more direct route up, steep but doable. Descended as described by surgent. It was a fine warm day with great views from the top. I didn't see any summit register. I was able to drive all the way to the trailhead as the road seemed to have been improved.

From FR 220Bushwhacked? You bet. I'm still bleeding I think. Bring your full-body Kevlar for this one. The summit is lovely, full of man-eating cholla. I had bonked 1/4 mile from the top and kinda stumbled my way up, signed the register, ate, and turned back downhill which was a bummer b/c I didn't get the spend much time up top. Pretty summit - getting there is just torturous.

A fine winter dayWent with streeyyr. A snow from two days ago was fast melting, and the hike went well. Definitely a peak no one climbs very often.
