That's the summit of Baker in circa 1968. I'm in Blue parka. Wood ice axes and manilla rope, standard issue for climbs with Seattle Mountaineers.

old stuff

Yep... wood ice axes... I lost mine, but have my uncle's wood ice axe from...??? got to be the 40's. No crampons from him. Just a few stories and the pics of the Kulshan Cabin on Mt Baker. I have an article on that if you want to check it out.
