Nice winter hike/snowshoe
FS road is closed for the winter so you will park on Mission Ridge Rd. Microspikes were very helpful on the hard-packed snow/ice on the way up. Used snowshoes from the FS road above the reservoir to the summit. We saw many large paw prints, either cougar or bear, as well as bones from a deer carcass. There are many different FS roads that connect to the one that leads to the reservoir, so I would recommend a good map if you're unfamiliar with the area.

quick and easy
Good choice for a late start on about the shortest day of the year.

Nice easy hike
I did this summit with Nartreb. This was a nice easy hike which helped us scout other mountains in the region. Views from the summit were decent, especially toward Horse Lake Peak.
