Always a pleasure to live vicariously through you and Craig's non-domestic adventures. Now, I'll see if I can get away for a more traditional batchelor party.
I especially like the part where you missed the flights out of Miami and ended up in Lima ... that is exctly what happened to me and my husband (photo61guy) EXCEPT the wonderful agents in Miami booked us on a flight from Lima to La Paz that never existed ... VERY long story short is that we made it 2 days late and missed the acclimitization but fared well. Beautiful country and an amazing adventure. Your photos bring back a lot of great memories ...
I thoroughly enjoyed this TR more than many others on SP. You clearly leave the pretentiousness attitude that a lot of climbers express at home, and focus on the enjoyment of international adventure and beautiful mountains. It makes me want to have my own Bolivian adventure. Thank you and congrats!
A great trip. The late arrival, the luggage delay all standard Anmerica del Sur climbing trip events. How much Scotch did you bring? I like to do that but often bring cigarettes b/c they're lighter.
I had to laugh at this line: "Apparently if you bury a llama fetus under your new house before you move in, it’s good luck, which makes sense when you think about it."
reading this report. I am in peru currently, so I feel in touch with the beauty and spanish culture that you experienced on your trip. great read.really enjoyed your pics also. cheers brother

Nacho!Great report.
But I was the gringo mas nachismo, not machismo. It's like macho, but more nacho.
