I would say...

one hell of a bachelor party. Just a great read and your pictures make me want to leave for Bolivia right now. Excellent trip report!

Welcome Back

Always a pleasure to live vicariously through you and Craig's non-domestic adventures. Now, I'll see if I can get away for a more traditional batchelor party.

Great shots and story ...

I especially like the part where you missed the flights out of Miami and ended up in Lima ... that is exctly what happened to me and my husband (photo61guy) EXCEPT the wonderful agents in Miami booked us on a flight from Lima to La Paz that never existed ... VERY long story short is that we made it 2 days late and missed the acclimitization but fared well. Beautiful country and an amazing adventure. Your photos bring back a lot of great memories ...

Well done!

Excellent job. And you kept Craig out of prison. Perhaps a return in the near future? I certainly want to go back. Cheers!

Excellent write-up!

I thoroughly enjoyed this TR more than many others on SP. You clearly leave the pretentiousness attitude that a lot of climbers express at home, and focus on the enjoyment of international adventure and beautiful mountains. It makes me want to have my own Bolivian adventure. Thank you and congrats!

I echo all the above

A great trip. The late arrival, the luggage delay all standard Anmerica del Sur climbing trip events. How much Scotch did you bring? I like to do that but often bring cigarettes b/c they're lighter.

Good read, and congrats on your summits

I had to laugh at this line: "Apparently if you bury a llama fetus under your new house before you move in, it’s good luck, which makes sense when you think about it."

Nacho!

Great report.
But I was the gringo mas nachismo, not machismo. It's like macho, but more nacho.

Great report

"Apparently if you bury a llama fetus under your new house before you move in, it’s good luck, which makes sense when you think about it." Haha! Nice!

Great trip report. Thanks for sharing. We also loved Bolivia when we were there.
