Nice
I climbed from Serranillos in a day with some fog but the route was nice.

From Puerto de Serranillos in late summer
The first time I attempted Cerro del Cabezo was with my family. It was a hot and sunny day so there were no shadows in the area. We also had problems finding the way through the bushes (Spanish brooms) up Risco de Miravalles. I remember that we had to descend once started its west flank because of that. We also carried a baby so it was somehow risky being there so much time having that heat. Perhaps there was not a path then... So we walked back to Collado del Lagarejo and descended on the trail to our car parked on Puerto de Serranillos.
We attempted Cerro del Cabezo twice after that and I'll write about them soon. The first one was starting from Puerto de Mijares and also didn't reached the top...

Sierra de Cabezo Ridge traverse
Started at Seranillos in the north and hiked to Puerto de Lagarejo, from which we ttraversed the Cabezo Ridge: Risco de Miravalles, Cabezo de Gavilanes, Cabezo de Mijares. Descended to Puerto de Mijares an took the direct line to the valley and back to Seranillos. Lots of flies on the ridge spoiled the otherwise perfect experience
