"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Martin and CheopsThis was supposed to be Martin and Switchback. Somehow mixed up the two and ended up with a much longer and more difficult adventure. Started from Foggy Dew TH. Absolutely no new snow on the mountains whatsoever. Could have come in trailrunners. Ascended Martin first then crossed a max class 3 ridge to Cheops (thinking it was Switchback). Descended directly down the chossy southeast face of the mountain and looped back. Kinda disappointing to miss Switchback but was still a great day. NO OTHER HIKERS THE ENTIRE DAY. Just a few motorbikes
