Quick & Easy
Snow and rain all over the area the day before, rain and hail on summit day, but I didn't want to deal with the crowds on Saturday when the good weather came. 55 minutes up, nice hike, lots of folks going up and down. Nice summit. The route above the helo pad isn't that sketchy at all. My recommendation is to wear good boots and not trail runners or gym shoes. You need grip to make it easier and safe. I hope to be back and try Echo one of these days.

Nice change of pace
Have only climbed this route once so far, but I found it a little more enjoyable than the Echo Canyon trailhead and a nice change of pace. It is gentler on the knees and the scrambling is a little bit more exposed without the handrails.
