Climbing Up the Scree, Convict Lake

I went out to scout around the base of Mt. Morrison to see where the best approach was and this was as high as I got. Saw a hiker coming down while I was going up who said he started at 0530 and summited at 1030, it was about 1230 when I saw him. I'm going to try to start climbing it at 0400 sometime later this month and hopefully it will be my first summit.
