Cougar Mountain
Brutal bike in on 4 inches of fresh snow. Cold day on the ridge. Sketchy scrambling on wet and frozen snow covered slabs. Huge wildlife day, 3 golden eagles, one screaming at me on the ridge, full frontal upward dive up the face of the true summit of Cougar. Fresh cougar tracks, ewe and twins, 5 deer, coyote, weasel tracks.
