After Cow MountainHit Mendo Rock on the way in, then Cow Mountain at the north end of the road from the water tank; came down in moonlight, then Cow Mountain Ridge on the way back in the dark. Lights of Ukiah all laid out like a ribbon the valley to the west.
A bit too much garbage strewn along the roadside.

With Cow MountainThis is an OHV area, so isn't quite the Wilderness experience one might hope for in a pretty area dominated by chaparral, but visiting on a weekday offers more solitude. Trip Report.
