It might have been better to fully heal before going up in the mountains but it's like the feeling I got at a trailhead in the Whites while I had the flu; if I'm going to be miserable I might as well have fun being miserable. It wasn't ideal but it was still a great weekend. Sounds like your trip was pretty damn good.

Thanks! I remember the Whites very fondly...many an early AM day driving in the morning to get a 4,000'er and driving back to Boston or the beach to drink. Well worth the price of a flu!
