via the Gregg trailThe trails have been modified considerably over the past few years judging by the looks of it. Halfway up the mountain is a wooden promontory near some blueberry fields that is wheelchair accessible; the remainder of the summit trail is gentle but still foot travel only. I got five ticks from an hour of hiking there so the ticks in the area are numerous.

2 Kids and the dogEasy climb even with my 4 and 3 year olds and the 15 week old puppy. We had no problem Headed right up the Shannon trail. The sky was a wonderful cloudless blue and the trees were in full color all around everywhere we looked.
