Czupel is the highest peak of Beskid Mały mountain range in the south of Poland. This mountain reaches 930 metres - definitely not high. There are several hiking trails and all are nice and easy, suitable also for winter hiking (no avalanche risk).
My route starts at Międzybrodzie Bialskie. It's best to get there by car or hitchhike.
The red trail starts at Międzybrodzie Bialskie village near the church. The trail is a bit steep at some points but pleasant to hike - there are nice views. After reaching the top you hike the blue trail leading to the mountain hut on Magurka. From the mountain hut, you descend on the yellow trail through dense forest.
The last 2 kilometres lead on an asphalt road.
Route is a loop and there's a mountain hut on the way where you can get hot meals and beverages. Nice and easy, takes about 5 hours to hike.
Hiking boots, hiking poles.
