I've been around cats all my life. They were close friends. I feel that friends like that stay with us for life times. That could be why you were so drawn to her immediately. Possibly through past association in a previous life. Those kind of ties are deeper than usual relationships. The love is just so obviously there to be shared. I went though the slow aging death of my cat Lou and the loss is always naturally painful. Now this young black cat Stu Deans has entered my life. What an amazing friend he is! He races up trees and takes walks with me. He loves affection a great deal too. Pretty sure he would climb a peak with me as well!
