The ascent over scree fields is strenuous...after Bivak2 much more interesting,a few twists and turns and very poor rock quality.Really for the surefooted.The descent is fast.A beautiful spot by the waterfall - ideal for the well-earned break.Very nice day
Route Climbed: Jug's couloir Date Climbed: 20 July 2004
A hard and long soloclimb: started rather late and encoutered many falling rocks in the couloir during ascend. The rock climb from the top of the couloir onto the main ridge was a bit tricky alone. But the summit views are impressive, especially on Triglav and Vrata Valley below.

From Vrata valleyStarted late afternoon, slept at Bivak II and summited next morning. Bagged Splevna as a bonus on descend. Great tour but a long walk down.
