6 hours C2C, Obstruction Point Road was closed due to heavy snow, walked from Visitor Center past Steeple Rock, following some cross country ski tracks. Cut up from the road, so much unspoiled snow even in mid-spring! Amazing views, north and west were misted over, got some views of Olympus and Anderson, got fantastic views of Elk Mountain, Johnson/Needles, and McCartney

Very Enjoyable Off-Trail Hike
I really liked this hike. A small patch of snow was still lingering on the northern side of the southwest ridgeline, but otherwise most of the peak was barren. Great views in multiple directions. I would really like to go snowshoeing here.
